Just behind the rounded wall in the foyer is the entrance to the first-floor lav. This is a very functional lav. But, it’s also a statement that reflects the oriental theme of this house. The stone sink sitting on a stone pedestal, the round vase atop a tall wood stand, & the decorative branches – they are all elements of Zen gardens.
