Quarter-to-Quarter, the median sold price was down 5.4% from the all time high of $724K in Q2. Year-to-Year, the median sold price was UP 12.3% from the $610K in Q3 last year, and is the highest Q3 median price EVER.

Here are the Quarterly Median Sold Prices over the last 4 years. This visual makes it easier to grasp how steeply Cape Cod home prices have gone up in the time of COVID. Since Q1 Since Q1 2020 the median sold price has gone UP 57%.

Year-to-Year quarterly prices have gone UP every quarter since Q2 2016. That’s 26 quarters in a row, with an overall price increase of Double the $343K in Q1 2016.

The number of single-family homes sold in Barnstable County in Q3 was 1,012. Quarter - to - Quarter, Q3 Sales were UP 15% from the 880 sales in Q2.

Year – to – Year, Q3 sales were down – 12.8% -- from the 1,161 sales in Q3 last year.
